A call to action!
Something is terribly wrong with our world. No matter what we do, no matter who’s in charge, things seem only to get worse. We have so much knowledge and information at our fingertips, but it seems to mostly further evil and chaos, despair and hopelessness. Something has definitely gone wrong. It sure looks and feels like we are heading in the wrong direction. Many look at this world and conclude that there is nothing that can be done. Therefore they continue as they are and of course nothing changes. Others turn to things that seem to make them feel better or make them forget their misery for the moment, but they aren’t really changing anything in any real way either. So what can be done? What actions can you take? What actions must you take and what can you do that promises a way to success?
What is the first thing to consider?
And yes, I am encouraging you to think. Think for yourself!
Who made everything? If you can come to a real conclusion of who made you then you have arrived at the right starting point. This is where we start; God first. Start with him.
What was I made for, what is my purpose in this life? I’m sure you probably also thought to yourself that there has to be more to life, or what happens after I die? These are questions that no one really has the answers for except the one who made us and who made everything.
Should not a people inquire of their God?                                                                       Isaiah 8:19
Come now, let us reason together says the Lord                                                              Isaiah 1:18
So how did everything turn from good to bad and worse?
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man (Adam), and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned,                                                              Romans 5:12
         And the second thing to consider;
What is your relationship to God and with God? Most of us consider ourselves to be our own boss and rarely think about who made us or what our relationship to God actually is. That is because we are caught up in our own circumstances and our own pursuit of happiness. I’m sure that anyone who seriously considers this question would say that they ought to have a relationship with God. Or that their relationship with God ought to be much better. So what’s the problem? Let’s begin by considering who God is and who I am. God is holy, righteous and just and me, I’m none of those things – and in this world such qualities have become quite foreign. Maybe you can begin to see that there is a separation or quite a distance between you and our God. How to come to God, how to approach him and what action are we to take? Turn the page and see what actions our heavenly Father has taken.
                The actions God has taken!
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility.
                                                                                                                              Ephesians 2:13-16
That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
                                                                                                                       2 Corinthians 5:19&21

What actions can you take? What actions are the only one's to take?
Take our Creator's word. Test his promises. See if his way works.
Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! Psalm 34:8
Do you know anyone who would do what God has done for us? If you are a parent you know probably the hardest thing for a parent is to give up their child, their only child. God has given his only begotten Son for us, for our sins.
Do you want to be blessed? Take refuge in God. Trust that Jesus died in your place for all of your sins. That he died for you.
