The world we live in
What kind of world do we live in? Is this world a good place? What is happening in our world? What do we hear on the News constantly and mostly everyday? Is it that our world is full of chaos, uncertainty and confusion? There are people committing unbelievable acts against their fellow human beings. In certain countries, cities or neighborhoods life is "very cheap", people are being killed, violated and abused for no reason at all. Now who is to blame for all the evil that goes on in this world? It is human beings that are responsible for these atrocious acts and abuses of others. Why are people like that? Why does it seem that everyone is just out for themselves? Didn't God create the earth and us? Weren't we made in his image? Something has gone horribly wrong! Why aren't things getting better? If we are to believe the theory of evolution; everything is supposed to be getting better, since we are evolving into superior beings...
Is God the creator at fault? We know some people do ask; "If there is a God, why does he allow all this evil to continue?"
OK, let's start at the beginning;
Now if you believe in evolution (and let's remember that it remains a Theory); it all started with a Big Bang, single cells developed, we evolved out of it, we continue to evolve into "higher beings"......
But that doesn't explain the world we live in today. That doesn't nor can it explain the evil we continually encounter, the senseless killings - the selfishness that seems to surround us on every side. It doesn't explain human being's actions.
If you believe in God or believe that a higher power exists; he must have created the universe and us. God's word tells us that God created the heavens and the earth. God created man and God saw that everything he created was good. The bible tells us that he made man in his image, that we are made in God's image. But if we look at today's world, it's hard to see God's image in this mess.
How did Good turn to Evil,what happened?
God created man, Adam and Eve and put them in the garden of Eden. Life was easy for them and everything was wonderful, but they disobeyed their creator and everything changed; they had to leave the garden of Eden, life became hard and difficult. They were separated from their Creator.
God told Cain, Adam's son; If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary to you, but you must rule over it.” (Genesis 4:7&8) Did Cain listen? No- but instead he became a murderer, he murdered his own brother because his brothers actions were righteous, but his were not.Only a few generations later, this is what God said about man; The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)
What did God do? He found Noah, now Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God. (Genesis 6:9) Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and the earth was filled with violence. And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. (Genesis 6:11&12)
God was about to bring a flood upon the earth, he told Noah to build an arch for his preservation and for the animals. It took a long time for Noah to build the ark, yet while Noah built the ark, the world would not repent of all their evil deeds. This is what Jesus Christ said about the flood in the gospel; for as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark,and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away. (Matthew 24:38&39) After the flood, it was "a new start", God promised Noah to never again destroy the world by a flood. Did things get better? Did man listen to God? Did the world heat the warnings from God?

NO and NO and more NO...
Remember Sodom and Gomorrah? God would have spared the cities, but not even 10 righteous people were found in them. Because of their wickedness, God destroyed both cities with fire and brimstone. Lot and his family were the only ones rescued out of the cities. (Genesis 19) And it continues to get worse and worse to this day.....
